Sawmill moved also to its new site by the lower shed


I can now lock up my tools in our log shed

We also need to move our sawmill to lower ground to cut the black walnut logs stored in the lower shed and to clean the land around out hous

A lot of clean up still to do after the woods were cleared 3 years ago.jpg I never run out of work in this type of project


Working in sub-freezing conditions just means dressing adequately. It is actually quite enjoyable and refreshing


Our new little log shed in the march snow


I begin cleaning up the remaining logs by milling what is millable.jpg Here is some nice cedar boards for the house interior


We use the left over log trimmings to hide our water catch barrel system.jpg.jpgthe boys play in it as though it is a tower

Next we plan to burn the brush and debris from the old forest clean up and eventually we will burn the rotten wood in the house
